update

Finally got my whole application in for the community service program with afs and the first payment, so its basically legit now. Going to go get my passport renewed tomorrow. Got a lot of books from the library about Paraguay. Apparently they have had a lot of brutal dictators.......sweet!
I also went to my first afs potluck yesterday in Denver and had an alright time. Chisato's foreign friends seem pretty nice.....and flirtatious. Just counting down the days now

Hi everybody!
So by now you may have found out that I am participating in a year long exchange to Paraguay. I recieved a sholarship to help me to go, and one of the conditions attached to it was that I start a blog to maintain while I am overseas. I will do the best I can in keeping it current, but this is my first blog so I have some learning to do. Still, I think it is a great idea and I hope you guys enjoy it and send me feedback.
I will keep you updated on my placement as I get closer to leaving and general school things for my relatives. Pictures will be up as well
